NTPC Korba honored with Safety Excellence Award by Greentech Foundation
Korba, march 13, 2022. NTPC Korba has been conferred with the Safety Excellence Award by Greentech Foundation for its excellence in the field of Safety. The 20th Annual Greentech Safety Awards 2021 was presented by Mr. Zenab Junaid Azim Mattoo, Mayor of Srinagar (J&K) and Mr. Kamleshwar Sharan, Managing Director and CEO, Greentech Foundation. Shri Gavendra Sharma (Deputy General Manager – Safety) from NTPC Korba received the award.
Safety is one of the topmost priorities of NTPC and NTPC Korba is committed to ensure proper adherence to every safety standard. NTPC Korba continuously strives to work safely and make its working practices secure. As a result, NTPC Korba has recently received the Excellent Achievement Award for Industrial Cleanliness and the prestigious Shram Yashasvi Award by the Chhattisgarh Government. As a result of its efforts for Safety, NTPC Korba recently received the Outstanding Achievement Award in Industrial Hygiene and the prestigious Shram Yashasvi Puruskar from Chhattisgarh Government.
NTPC Korba endeavors to sensitize employees about safety through safety campaigns so that employees can also ensure integration of occupational health and safety into their work culture and lifestyle.
