BALCO featured among India’s 150 Premier unlisted companies by Dun & Bradstreet

Korba, Balconagar, July 21: Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer,has been featured among India’s 150 Premier Unlisted Companies in Dun & Bradstreet’s India Top 500 Companies 2021 publication, for excellence in organizational culture with focus on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) for sustainable business development.

Dun & Bradstreet’s ‘India’s Top 500 Companies 2021’ list is an attempt to acknowledge India’s leading companies from various sectors who are the driving force of the Indian economy and frontrunners in the corporate sector. The theme of this year – ‘Layingthe Foundations for an ESG-Ready Corporate India’, was specifically chosen to highlight the pivotal role of ESG in ensuring long-term value creation and business resiliency. Dun & Bradstreet used theirproprietary data to select the companies based on several important parameters such as world class management, high quality aluminum production, customer satisfaction, innovation, community development, environmental conservation, governance, total income, profitability, and market capitalization.
