NTPC Korba celebrated International Yoga Day with the theme of ‘Yoga for Humanity’

Korba, june 22, 2022: This year 8th International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at various places in NTPC Korba residential complex keeping in mind the theme of International Yoga Day Yoga for Humanity.

Before the start of the program, Shri P Ram Prasad, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance) welcomed the instructor with a bouquet. The main event was held at the Utsav Hall of Nucleus Club located in the residential complex. Ms. Anisha Deshmukh, invited as a yoga instructor, first told about the importance of yoga and then made her aware of its benefits while practicing different types of yoga.

Apart from this, International Yoga Day was also organized in the Employee Development Center and Kendriya Vidyalaya located in the residential complex, in which the residents of the residential complex and the students of the school participated in large numbers. To spread awareness among the general public, posters related to yoga have been displayed through display boards in the township and plant premises.
