BALCO Hospital Unveils State-of-the-Art Modular Operation Theatre for World-Class Surgery
korba-Balconagar 11th August 2023: Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer and a subsidiary of Vedanta Aluminium has reached a significant milestone in its provision of quality healthcare services by unveiling a state-of-the-art Modular Operation Theatre. This first-of-its-kindfacility in the Chhattisgarh state, sourced from Dräger, a globally renowned company acknowledged for its excellence in delivering world-class medical and safety technology solutions, wasinaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CEO and Director of BALCO.
Along with the recently inaugurated state-of-the-art Modular Operation Theatre, BALCO Hospital has also introduced a cutting-edge CT scan room, an advanced X-ray room, and an Emergency and Critical Care Unit to its infrastructure. The latest 32-slice CT scanner, procured from SiemensCompany, a renowned name in clinical technology and solutions, is a notable addition. This new CT scan facility will provide precision diagnostics and comprehensive patient care in the Korba district. The new Emergency and Critical Care Unit is equipped to house 10 ICU beds, effectively addressing the requirements of critical emergency cases. These advancements at BALCO Hospital together will benefit patients, providing medical excellenceall at affordable rates, ensuring enhanced medical care and the well-being of its patients.
