Over the course of four days, teams from Raipur, Bijapur, Durg, and Bastar districts will compete fervently for the championship title. The victorious team will be awarded a prestigious 21-day coaching camp tailored for 30 players, aimed at further honing their skills and preparing them for higher levels of competition. Highlighting the importance of such initiatives, it was announced that 15 outstanding players will be selected from the coaching camp to represent Chhattisgarh at the national level.
This pathway has proven fruitful in the past, as exemplified by Kiran Pisdu’s journey. Kiran, discovered through a previous edition of this event, went on to shine at the national level and subsequently played for both the Kerala league and a prominent European club in 2018.
NTPC Korba, through its consistent support of grassroots sports, continues to nurture young talent and provide them with opportunities to excel on both national and international platforms.
