Raipur, June 8, 2026 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday attended the pre-launch screening ceremony of the film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ held at Jora Mall in the capital city, Raipur. His wife, Smt. Kaushalya Sai, and family members were also present on the occasion. Renowned actress and Member of Parliament Ms. Kangana Ranaut, the film’s director Shri Manoj Tapadia, artists associated with the film industry, public representatives, and a large number of citizens were present at the event.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is a matter of great fortune for Chhattisgarh that the screening of Ms. Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ is being held in the state and that she herself has come here on this occasion. He said that Ms. Kangana Ranaut is warmly welcomed and felicitated in Chhattisgarh, the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya and the maternal home of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
Chief Minister Shri Sai extended his best wishes to all the artists, technical experts and the entire team associated with the film. He said that this is a story that honours those unheard and unseen heroes whose extraordinary contributions often do not receive adequate recognition. He added that the presence of the respectable women staff from the Health Department along with Ms. Kangana Ranaut and her team at today’s screening makes the spirit of the film even more meaningful.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is a matter of pride that the film’s director, Shri Manoj Tapadia, hails from Chhattisgarh, born and brought up here, and after spending many years in Mumbai, wrote the story of this film based on such an important subject. The Chief Minister said that during the terrorist attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, Pakistani terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on innocent people, resulting in the loss of many lives. During that difficult period, women nurses, doctors and other healthcare workers serving in hospitals saved hundreds of lives and cared for the injured without concern for their own safety.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that there are many such warriors whose stories never reach society. By portraying the role of a nurse herself, Ms. Kangana Ranaut has undertaken the important task of bringing before the nation the story of the courage, service and dedication of these healthcare workers. He said that there are many people in the world who accomplish great deeds but do not receive proper recognition. This film is dedicated to such individuals.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is also a matter of great fortune that the country’s distinguished Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given this film the title ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’. On behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh, he extended congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Kangana Ranaut, her entire team and all personnel associated with the Health Department.
