ओड़िसा के कंधमाल में 2 महिला और 4 पुरुष सहित 6 नक्सली ढेर, मृतकों में CC मेंबर गणेश उईके व ACM बारी उर्फ राकेश भी शामिल
जगदलपुर/ ओड़िसा के कंधमाल जिले में नक्सलियों के खिलाफ एक बड़े ऑपरेशन में जवानों ने 2 महिला और 4 पुरुष सहित 6 नक्सलियों को मार गिराया है. मारे गए नक्सलियों में सेंट्रल कमेटी (CC) मेंबर गणेश उईके के अलावा एरिया कमेटी मेंबर (ACM) बारी उर्फ राकेश शामिल है. कंधमाल जिले के चाकापाड़ इलाके में जवानों की नक्सलियों से जबरदस्त मुठभेड़ बीती रात से जारी है.
बीती रात जहां सुरक्षा बल के जवानों ने दो नक्सलियों को मार गिराया था, जिनमें सुकमा का रहने वाला एरिया कमेटी मेंबर (ACM) और बीजापुर का अमृत दलगम सदस्य बारी उर्फ राकेश शामिल था. दोनों पर नक्सलियों पर कुल 23 लाख 65 हजार रुपए का इनाम घोषित था. मौके से दो हथियार बरामद किए गए. वहीं आज सुबह मुठभेड़ में दो महिला और दो पुरुष नक्सलियों को मार गिराने में कामयाबी हासिल की. इनमें से एक सीसी मेंबर गणेश उईके भी शामिल है. गणेश उईके की 7 राज्यों में तलाश थी. तेलंगाना के नलगोंडा जिले का रहने वाला गणेश उईके साउथ सब जोनल का इंचार्ज था. ऑपरेशन में ओडिशा की स्पेशल फ़ोर्स SOG की 20 टीमें व सीआरपीएफ की 3 टीमें मौजूद उड़ीसा पुलिस के DIG ऑपरेशन IPS अखिलेश्वर सिंह व कंधमाल एसपी पूरे ऑपरेशन की मॉनिटरिंग कर रहे हैं. मौक़े से दो नग INSAS राइफल व एक नग 303 रायफल बरामद किया है.

🎯 ओडिशा में सुरक्षा बलों ने माओवादी विरोध अभियान के मोर्चे पर एक महत्वपूर्ण परिचालन सफलता हासिल की है। कंधमाल एवं गंजाम जिलों के सीमावर्ती वन क्षेत्रों में संयुक्त अभियान के दौरान एक वरिष्ठ माओवादी नेता को निष्क्रिय किया गया।
🎯 यह अभियान सशस्त्र माओवादी कैडरों की उपस्थिति से संबंधित विश्वसनीय सूचनाओं के आधार पर एलडब्ल्यूई-प्रभावित रम्भा वन क्षेत्र में प्रारंभ किया गया, जो ऐतिहासिक रूप से माओवादियों की आवाजाही, पुनर्गठन एवं रसद आपूर्ति का प्रमुख मार्ग रहा है।
🎯 25 दिसम्बर 2025 की तड़के, वन क्षेत्र के विभिन्न स्थानों पर सुरक्षा बलों और माओवादी कैडरों के बीच कई बार मुठभेड़ हुई।
🎯 मुठभेड़ समाप्त होने के पश्चात क्षेत्र में व्यवस्थित सर्च एवं एरिया डॉमिनेशन ऑपरेशन चलाया गया। अभियान के उपरांत तलाशी के दौरान दो महिला कैडरों सहित चार माओवादियों के शव तथा हथियार एवं गोला-बारूद बरामद किए गए।
🎯 मुठभेड़ में निष्क्रिय किए गए माओवादियों में से एक की पहचान गणेश उइके के रूप में हुई है, जो प्रतिबंधित CPI (माओवादी) संगठन का सेंट्रल कमेटी सदस्य (CCM) एवं ओडिशा स्टेट कमेटी का प्रभारी था।
⚫ गणेश उइके, लगभग 69 वर्ष, रूपा, राजेश तिवारी, चम्रू, पक्का हनुमंतु, गणेशन्ना एवं सोमारू जैसे कई उपनामों से भी जाना जाता था। वह तेलंगाना राज्य के नलगोंडा ज़िले के चेंदुर मंडल स्थित पुल्लेमाला गांव का निवासी था।
⚫ वर्ष 1988 से दंडकारण्य क्षेत्र में सक्रिय गणेश उइके माओवादी संगठन का एक वरिष्ठ एक सक्रिय कैडर था। उसने जगदलपुर में सिटी ऑर्गनाइज़र (1988–1998), वेस्ट बस्तर डिवीजनल कमेटी के सचिव (1998–2006) तथा दंडकारण्य स्पेशल जोनल कमेटी के सदस्य (2006 के पश्चात) के रूप में कार्य किया।
⚫ गणेश उइके एक कट्टर माओवादी कैडर था, जिसके विरुद्ध छत्तीसगढ़ के सुकमा एवं बीजापुर जिलों में कुल 16 आपराधिक प्रकरण दर्ज थे। उसके आपराधिक antecedents से संबंधित विस्तृत विवरण संकलित किया जा रहा है।
⚫ गणेश उइके कई गंभीर अपराधों में संलिप्त था, जिनमें वर्ष 2014 में सुकमा जिले के तोंगपाल क्षेत्र अंतर्गत तहकवाड़ा में पुलिस दल पर किया गया सशस्त्र हमला प्रमुख है, जिसमें 15 पुलिस जवान शहीद हुए। उसके आपराधिक कृत्यों में नागरिक हत्याएँ, हत्या, हत्या का प्रयास, अपहरण, पुलिस बलों पर सशस्त्र हमले तथा हथियारों एवं विस्फोटकों का अवैध उपयोग एवं कब्जा शामिल है।
⚫ शेष तीन मारे गए माओवादी कैडरों की पहचान ओडिशा पुलिस द्वारा की जा रही है।
⚫ पुलिस महानिरीक्षक, बस्तर रेंज, श्री सुन्दरराज पैट्लिंगम ने बताया कि गणेश उइके की निष्क्रियता ओडिशा में माओवादी नेतृत्व संरचना, विशेषकर ओडिशा स्टेट कमेटी के लिए एक बड़ा झटका है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि इससे ओडिशा एवं आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में माओवादियों की कमान, नियंत्रण एवं समन्वय क्षमता गंभीर रूप से कमजोर होगी। आज की यह परिचालन सफलता सुरक्षा बलों की खुफिया-आधारित एवं समन्वित कार्रवाई की प्रभावशीलता को दर्शाती है तथा वामपंथी उग्रवाद के उन्मूलन के प्रति सरकार की सतत प्रतिबद्धता को पुनः पुष्ट करती है।
⚫ पुलिस महानिरीक्षक, बस्तर रेंज ने यह भी कहा कि वर्तमान परिस्थितियों में शेष बचे माओवादी कैडरों के पास हिंसा का मार्ग छोड़कर सामाजिक मुख्यधारा में लौटने के अतिरिक्त कोई व्यवहारिक विकल्प नहीं बचा है, जिससे वे शांतिपूर्ण एवं सार्थक जीवन व्यतीत कर सकें।

🟡 *Neutralisation of Central Committee Member Ganesh Uike*
🟤 *ODISHA – KANDHAMAL–GANJAM BORDER AREA*
🎯 Security forces in Odisha achieved a significant operational breakthrough on the anti-Naxal front with the neutralisation of a senior Maoist leader during a joint operation conducted in the forested border areas of Kandhamal and Ganjam districts of Odisha.
🎯 The operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of armed Maoist cadres in the LWE-affected Rambha forest range, an area historically used as a corridor for Maoist movement, regrouping, and logistical support.
🎯 In the early hours of 25 December 2025, security forces encountered Maoist cadres at multiple locations inside the forested terrain, leading to several exchanges of fire.
🎯 Following the cessation of the exchange of fire, systematic search and area domination operations were conducted. During the post-operation search, four Maoist bodies, including two women cadres, were recovered along with arms and ammunition.
🎯 One of the neutralised Maoists has been positively identified as Ganesh Uike, a Central Committee Member (CCM) of the banned CPI (Maoist) organisation and the In-Charge of the Odisha State Committee.
⚫ Ganesh Uike, aged approximately 69 years, was also known by several aliases, including Rupa, Rajesh Tiwari, Chamru, Pakka Hanumantu, Ganeshanna, and Somaru. He was a native of Village Pullemala, Chendur Mandal, Nalgonda District, Telangana.
⚫ Ganesh Uike had been active in the Dandakaranya region since 1988 and was a long-standing active Maoist cadre and organiser within the Maoist hierarchy. Over the years, he was involved in various Maoist activities, including that as of City Organiser in Jagdalpur (1988–1998), Secretary of the West Bastar Divisional Committee (1998–2006), and Member of the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (post-2006).
⚫ Ganesh Uike was a hardcore Maoist cadre with an extensive criminal history. A total of 16 criminal cases were registered against him in Sukma and Bijapur districts of Chhattisgarh. Further details regarding his criminal antecedents are being compiled.
⚫ Ganesh Uike was involved in several serious offences, most notably the 2014 armed attack on a police party at Tahakwada in the Tongpal area of Sukma, which resulted in the martyrdom of 15 police personnel. His criminal activities included civilian killings, murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping and abduction, armed attacks on police forces, and the illegal possession and use of arms and explosives.
⚫ The identities of the remaining three deceased Maoist cadres will be established by Odisha Police.
⚫ Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range, Shri Sundarraj Pattlingam stated that the neutralisation of Ganesh Uike is a major blow to the Maoist leadership structure in Odisha, particularly the Odisha State Committee. He further stated that Ganesh Uike’s neutralisation is expected to severely weaken Maoist command, control, and coordination in Odisha and adjoining regions. Today’s operational breakthrough highlights the effectiveness of intelligence-led, coordinated security action and reinforces the government’s sustained commitment to eliminating Left Wing Extremism.
⚫ The Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range, emphasised that in the prevailing circumstances, the remaining Maoist cadres are left with no viable option except to shun violence and join the social mainstream to lead a peaceful and meaningful life.
