NTPC Korba starts’ skill development training program for youth
Korba, April 8, . “Skill development is an important step for creating employability and NTPC Korba is making continuous efforts to enhance the skill development and employability of citizens of project affected villages,” said Biswaup Basu, Executive Director, NTPC Korba said during the inauguration ceremony of the training program.
NTPC Korba has tied up with Center for Skill & Technical Support (CIPET KORBA) for providing training for Assistant Machine Operator – Injection Molding. Under this program, 40 youth will be benefitted by the training. After the completion of this 3 months training, the placement assistance will also be provided by CIPET for the students.
Congratulating the youth, Shri Biswarup Basu, Executive Director, Korba said that this course will provide new employment opportunities to the youth of project affected villages and other nearby villages. Continuous efforts are being made by NTPC Korba for skill development and enhancing employability. Shri Basu spoke to the youth on the opportunities being provided in the field of skill development and motivated the students and students to take advantage of the opportunities. In the inaugural function Shri Manoj Kumar Rajput, Center Head, CIPET Korba motivated the youth to make full use of the training provided by NTPC.
