Modi’s guarantees, good governance and welfare measures are transforming Chhattisgarh, says Shri Vishnu Deo Sai; announces Rs 15 lakh for Jheriya Yadav community hall in Raipur

Raipur, July 19, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday said Chhattisgarh is witnessing rapid transformation through the fulfilment of Modi’s guarantees, transparent governance, farmer welfare, women’s empowerment and preservation of cultural heritage under the double engine government.
He made this statement addressing the Jheriya Yadav community convention and inaugurating a newly built community hall at Barauda village in Raipur, where he announced Rs 15 lakh for the construction of a community hall for the Jheriya Yadav community in Raipur.

Describing the Yadav community as a custodian of Indian cultural values, social harmony and the tradition of cow protection, he said organised and socially aware communities form the foundation of a strong nation.

Highlighting the government’s achievements, the Chief Minister said 18 lakh houses were approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the first Cabinet meeting after the government assumed office, including 32,000 houses for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). He said the state is procuring paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal, while the Mahtari Vandan Yojana is providing Rs 1,000 every month to eligible women, strengthening their financial security.

Shri Sai said Bastar has entered a new phase of peace and development, with rapid expansion of roads, education, healthcare, housing and employment opportunities. He added that more than 50,000 devotees have so far benefited from the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, reflecting the government’s commitment to both development and cultural heritage.

The Chief Minister also said Chhattisgarh is the first state to establish a Department of Good Governance and Convergence, with government services being rapidly digitised to ensure transparency and timely delivery. He said the 24×7 Chief Minister Helpline 1076 and the rollout of Atal Digital Seva Kendras in every panchayat are making public services more accessible.
