‘Tiranga’ Symbolises Our National Identity, Pride and Unity: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Hoists Tricolour at CM Residence Under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai hoisted the national flag at the Chief Minister’s Residence in Civil Lines, Raipur, under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign on August 14. On the occasion, he appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to hoist the Tiranga at their homes on Independence Day and join the nationwide campaign of patriotism.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Tiranga symbolises India’s national identity, pride and unity and fills every Indian with a sense of patriotism. He said the national flag unites 140 crore Indians in a common bond and reminds citizens of their shared responsibility towards the nation.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, through the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, has created an initiative that emotionally connects citizens with the national flag. The campaign has evolved into a nationwide people’s movement, with the Tiranga flying over homes from villages to cities as a powerful expression of the country’s unity, integrity and national consciousness.
Shri Sai urged citizens to hoist the Tiranga at their homes with respect and pride on Independence Day and express gratitude to the freedom fighters and immortal martyrs whose sacrifices secured India’s freedom. Referring to Chhattisgarh’s contribution to the freedom struggle, he recalled the supreme sacrifice of the great tribal hero, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh. He paid tribute to all the state’s freedom fighters who dedicated themselves to the motherland.
The Chief Minister said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is also connecting the younger generation with the glorious history of India’s freedom struggle and national values. He said that when children and youth hoist the national flag at their homes, it strengthens their sense of pride, responsibility and duty towards the nation.
Shri Sai said India’s freedom was achieved through countless sacrifices, and it is now the collective responsibility of citizens to make it stronger and more meaningful. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward with the resolve to build a Developed India by 2047, and every citizen has an important role in achieving this goal.
The Chief Minister said that under the Tiranga, everyone is Indian and the national interest remains paramount. He appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to celebrate Independence Day by hoisting the Tiranga at every home and collectively resolve to build a developed, strong and self-reliant India.
