RED WR-II inaugurated the “Pragati Ke Sakshi” selfie point at NTPC Korba Township
korba: Shri Pradipta Kumar Mishra, Regional Executive Director (RED) of Western Region-II, USSC & Ash NI, inaugurated the “Pragati Ke Sakshi” selfie point at NTPC Korba on August 3, 2024. This new addition celebrates the remarkable growth and achievements of NTPC Korba since its inception in 1983.
Shri Pradipta Kumar Mishra inaugurated the selfie point in the august presence of BUH Korba Shri Rajeev Khanna, all the GMs and other senior officials of NTPC Korba.
The “Pragati Ke Sakshi” selfie point serves as a visual testament to the plant’s journey and development over the decades. It features a series of displays and installations that chronicle the milestones and progress of NTPC Korba, providing a unique opportunity for visitors and employees to engage with the plant’s history.
In addition to the selfie point, an exciting new initiative was introduced: seven trees in the Korba township have been selected and named in honor of each unit of the plant. This initiative not only symbolizes the plant’s enduring commitment to environmental sustainability but also strengthens its connection with the local community.
