NTPC Korba provides financial help to 40 underprivileged meritorious students under Utkarsh Scholarship

Korba 27 september: NTPC Korba extended financial help to underprivileged students of class 10th, 12th and ITI Korba by providing financial grant under its Utkarsh Scholarship initiative of NTPC Foundation. This financial grant was provided to each of the 40 students belonging to project affected villages (PAVs). A sum of Rs. 3000 was given to each student studying in schools and Rs. 5000 was granted to each of the ITI Students.

In the program Shri Sanjay Madan, NTPC’s Regional Executive Director (West – II & South) congratulated the students by providing a certificate of Merit and wished them the best for their academic career.

Also present in the ceremony were Shri Biswaroop Basu, Executive Director (Korba), Shri P. Ram Prasad, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), Shri Binod Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Medical), Shri Bhanu Samanta, General Manager (Ash Dyke Management), Shri Shambhu Sharan Jha, General Manager (Technical Services), Shri Lalit Ranjan Mohanty, General Manager (Operations), Shri. Manoranjan Sarangi, AGM (Human Resources), all HODs, Representatives of Unions/Associations and other senior officers of NTPC Korba who congratulated the students on this well – deserved achievement.
