NTPC Korba Celebrates Vishwakarma Puja with Enthusiasm

Korba, 17 sep. 24 – NTPC Korba proudly celebrated Vishwakarma Puja today at its plant premises with great enthusiasm and reverence. The ceremony was graced by Shri S. P. Singh, General Manager (Fuel Management), and Shri Somnath Bhattacharjee, General Manager (Maintenance), who served as the Yajmans for the puja.

The event was attended by senior officials of NTPC Korba, including Shri Arnab Maitra, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance), who was accompanied by other key personnel from the plant. The celebration also saw the presence of Smt. Kasturi Maitri, Vice President of Maitri Mahila Samiti (MMS), and other senior office bearers of MMS.

The Vishwakarma Puja was conducted with traditional rituals and was followed by a Khichdi Bhog at the plant canteen. All employees, contract workers, and other individuals associated with the plant were warmly invited to partake in the celebrations and enjoy the community meal.

This annual event underscores NTPC Korba’s commitment to fostering a sense of community and honoring the tradition of Vishwakarma Puja, which celebrates the divine architect and craftsman, Lord Vishwakarma.

On this ocassion, employees, unions and associations, Maitri Mahila Samiti, Principals of the Township Schools, agency workers, contractors and workmen were also present.
