Raipur 17 September 2024: BALCO Medical Centre (BMC), a leader in oncology care in Central India, announces the 2nd Edition of the Annual BMC Chhattisgarh Cancer Conclave. This year, under the theme “Choosing Wisely 2024 – Common Sense Oncology for outcomes that matter,” BMC aims to address the pressing issues of cancer care accessibility and quality, particularly in Central India. The conclave will also coincide with the fifth year of choosing wisely meeting to be held in India in collaboration with ecancer, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai and National Cancer Grid.

In conjunction with the conference, a live surgical demonstration on Pancreatic and Gastric cancer will be held on 20th September at BALCO Medical Centre, Naya Raipur. For the first time, the event will also introduce a National Oncology Nursing Conclave, along with a diverse range of workshops.

In collaboration with the ecancer Global Foundation, the BMC Chhattisgarh Cancer Conclave aims to transform cancer education, offering physicians, nurses, researchers, and patient advocates a unique platform for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement.
